bresmama Bres Mama - With all due respect , clearly Ralph Lauren is iconic in fashion , and I
still love Some of the pieces in the collection and the concept of some
things , and it was a great show but I'm just not about the safari chic'
concept as it's reallyyy kind of played out and it's just like I've seen so
much of this before. Idk. Just not wow'd by the presentation or color
combo. In many parts of the collection. I find the jewelry in certain
places ok and some were really nice pieces but as a whole ,, seems like
some are just more of what feels like too much or off balance. Maybe trying
too hard ?? I don't ever like how some times it seems like a vision is
pushed upon the fashion industry to where it may not really be in invited
or received well to many ppl in how it's bringing back a concept that ends
up feeling like becomes thrusted upon the entire market to where yes it's a
success for the designer to see it trickle down Into all the retail stores
and other hands of designers who mimic it ,. But can't count how many times
I've wanted the whole safari theme to leave lol and same is true w many of
the throw backs to 60-70's styling as well. Just want something new and
innovative and while this collections crisp , clean and runway ready etc. ,
just felt like some pieces were not so thought out or maybe redundant. Idk.
Sorry to be negative. I realize it's more my opinion and I don't discount
at all the construction or presentation as truly , it's well done and
everything looks top notch walking down the runway. Just ,. Is anyone truly
wow'd by this ?? Am I the only one who isn't lol ? My apologies to anyone
for being negative.
Anna bella - I didn't enjoy this collection at all, the dark olive matched with bright
colors clashed very badly. The jewelry was gaudy and looked like something
you would find at Claires. I'm disappointed.
sheriwhispers - I liked the use of fabrics, the gray green moss eh. The yellow an fuchsia
pink not at all. Dislike the use of the pockets on shirts reminds me of the
80's. The neck pieces were something , tho translating that into everyday
women could be a nightmare.
As always I love to see RL take on how he sees colours an fabric an women.

George Koukalis - Everything is simply amazing. Unique colours, fantastic jeweleries and the
ambiance is quite simply top notch. Definetely a fashion show that is
second to none. Congratulations on Ralph Lauren for his excellent work.
kenshinkirby - Some of this collection was questionable... Some of it was really nice. But
its nothing to get excited about. This could have easily been any other
collection from kohl's or target. It doesn't translate to expensive imo
MegaCAdou - the jewelries were a feast to the eyes.... just so beautiful... the girls
were draped in them... absolutely loved this collection
